about job:

The Picture of Dorian Gray: It is a philosophical novel published in 1891 by Oscar Wilde. The story of this novel revolves briefly around a handsome, innocent young man who is fascinated by the pleasures of life, and the impulses of the human soul arouse within him and the desire to fulfill desires and pleasures, which made him indulge in the path of evil and follow his path, to fall into a struggle between good and evil; Until it finally collapses. Desire triumphs over morals, so the soul immerses itself in evil, then that soul returns to fight evil with a moral invitation stemming from the nature of human instinct.

The story begins in the studio of the painter Basil Hallward and his best friend, Lord Henry Wootton, who were discussing his new painting of a charming young man named Dorian Gray, how perfect Dorian is; He is so good and so innocent, and the most beautiful man who has ever walked the earth, that Lord Henry desires to meet this mysterious boy, and Lord Henry’s nature is that of a human soul that calls for evil and satisfies desires.

Henry manages to achieve his quest and meets Dorian, and indeed he is able to change his innocent view of the world, and Dorian begins to see life as Lord Henry sees it, because of his strange views of the world that charms him and discovers a new kind of pleasure.

Dorian Gray’s novel is considered a myth, yet it has been considered by many who have read it to be true. And this confusion in not determining whether it is a fact or a myth, but rather indicates the creativity of Oscar Wilde, and the story, in any case, is a wonderful story that carries many symbols and meanings that we can benefit from.
