الحمد لله رب العالمين

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds

اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

عَنْ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ الْهَرَوِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَى الرِّضَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ يَقُولُ:

(رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عَبْداً أَحْيَا أَمْرَنَا.

فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: وَكَيْفَ يُحْيِي أَمْرَكُمْ؟

قَالَ: يَتَعَلَّمُ عُلُومَنَا وَيُعَلِّمُهَا النَّاسَ، فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ لَوْ عَلِمُوا مَحَاسِنَ كَلَامِنَا لَاتَّبَعُونَا)

Abdul Salam Al-Harawi narrates that: I heard Abal Hassan Ali son of Musa Al-Ridha (peace be upon him) saying:

“May Allah have mercy upon the servant who revives our matter. I asked him: And how does a person revive your matter? He said: “He learns our knowledge and then teaches the people, indeed, if people knew the beauties of our speech, they would follow us”.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:

(لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى

أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ‏ إِلَيْهِ‏ مِنْ‏ نَفْسِهِ‏

وَأَهْلِي أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ

وَعِتْرَتِي أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ عِتْرَتِهِ

وَذَاتِي أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ ذَاتِهِ‏)

The holy Prophet (peace be upon him & his family) has said:

"A person would not be a believer unless I become the most beloved from himself and my family would be the most beloved from his family and my progeny would be the most beloved from his progeny and Myself would be the most beloved from his-self".
